Haywards Heath College opened its doors for a third open event, welcoming prospective staff and students to attend the event.
This evening was different to previous open events, with guided tours planned at various times throughout the event, to give prospective students and staff a better feel of how the college will be, with various curriculum areas being given set areas of the building.
There were two Principal Q & A sessions in the library where people were encouraged to ask any questions they had in an informal capacity. This led to plenty of parents and staff being put at ease once key questions had been answered. New Haywards Heath College Vice Principal, Ben Frier was also present and was seen engaged in plenty of conversations to existing and potential members of staff, as well as prospective students and parents.
Once again, all curriculum areas had members of staff available to give further details about courses and to hand out subject descriptions to those that requested them. The human resources team from Chichester College were also present and were inundated with people keen to register their interest in working at the college.
The final aspect of the open event included Course Guidance Meetings for a number of students as the admissions team work their way through the large number of student applications.
Overall, the event was hailed a success with plenty of great feedback being given about the helpful and friendly nature of staff across the Chichester College Group.
