OCR L2 Diploma in Digital Media (Moving Image and Audio Production)
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Level 2 Digital Media diploma aims to develop professional moving image and audio production skills as well as theoretical and technical knowledge and understanding to underpin these skills. This will allow your creativity and flair to be harnessed in the design and production of moving image products such as short films.
Students will develop conceptual ideas, and visualise these all the way through the production cycle; from planning and pre-production right through to editing, postproduction and presentation. Designed in collaboration with industry experts, the qualification will focus on the requirements that today’;s creative industry employers demand.
FURTHER INFORMATION
The entry requirements for this course are 4 GCSEs at Grade 3 including English and Maths.
On completing this course students can progress onto the CAMTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Digital Media in combination with one other Level 3 Applied General qualification.
This course is internally and externally assessed through a coursework portfolio and assessments set by the awarding body.
Upon successful completion of this one year course, students can progress onto a Level 3 programme assuming they achieve a grade 4 in English and/or Maths
