Head of Learning joins Haywards Heath College team

Haywards Heath College is delighted to announce the appointment of Cris Mummery as Head of Learning.

Cris will take up the post when the college opens in September.

He joins the team from Reigate College, where he has workedfor the past 13 years as a curriculum manager and learning technology champion.

Cris has been teaching for nearly 19 years, exclusively in the further education, post-16 sector.

Cris said: “I am delighted to be joining Haywards Heath College as Head of Learning from September.

“As a Haywards Heath resident with two young daughters, I know how important re-opening the college in September is to the local community.

“I have been hugely impressed with the approach the Chichester College Group has taken over the past few months to ensure that young people in the Haywards Heath will have access to the very best resources and expertise. I can’t wait to get started!”

Paul Riley, Principal of Haywards Heath College, added: “We are delighted that Cris will be joining Haywards Heath College.

“His passion for the sector means he will be a valuable addition, and he brings a wealth of experience.

“We are putting together a fantastic teaching team at the college, which will inspire and challenge our students when they start with us in September.”

Cris lives in Haywards Heath. When he isn’t exploring the Sussex countryside with his young family, Cris enjoys spending time on the golf course and at the cinema.
