Supporting your studies

Science at Haywards Heath College is taught in well-equipped laboratories, combining theory with the hands-on required practicals at the heart of A Level biology, chemistry and physics – supported by small groups and 1:1 tutor time.

Varied learning

There will be lessons where you undertake independent and group research, discuss scientific issues, research information online, revise topics and practice exam techniques.

Outside experience

On some courses there will be field trips to help with ecological and environmental work, other visits and some outside speakers.
