Physics students get practical with expert trainer

Haywards Heath College physics students gained valuable insight and experience into the field.

The second-year students visited Worthing College and spent the morning undertaking radioisotope investigation work to help further their studies, before joining a special physics seminar led by the highly regarded trainer Howard Dodd.

Katren Bishop, physics teacher at Haywards Heath College, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to our colleagues in Worthing College’s physics department for our day spent together.

“Howard Dodd is a principal examiner and expert trainer in physics education.

“The students had a terrific opportunity to develop their learning, both in the physics laboratory and in the seminar alongside physicists at Worthing College.”
