COURSE OVERVIEW
Planning a visit to France or a French speaking country? If so, then this course at Haywards Heath College is for you. French for Holidays is a 10 week part-time leisure course for adults (19+) with no previous knowledge of the language who are interested in learning useful everyday phrases and basic grammar. All you’;ll need is a keen interest to learn!
The main aim of French for Holidays is to learn basic French so you feel confident in greeting people and introducing yourself, talking about your friends and family, ordering food and drink, getting by in tourist situations, asking for directions, and using numbers and quantities.
This course has been designed to introduce you to the French language and to develop your understanding of the language and customs as well as providing a sound grounding for further studies. You will have ample opportunity to learn to deal with authentic situations that may realistically be encountered whilst travelling in France or French speaking countries, for pleasure or when meeting French people.
This course will take place on Monday evenings from 6.30-8.30pm

Your tutor will advise you on options for further study.
You will be informally assessed on your progress by your teacher throughout the course.
The course will cost £230 and will run for 10 weeks
