Spanish For Holidays
COURSE OVERVIEW
Planning a visit to Spain or a Spanish speaking country? If so, then this course at Haywards Heath College is for you. Spanish for Holidays is a 10 week part-time leisure course for adults (19+) with no previous knowledge of the language who are interested in learning useful everyday phrases and basic grammar. All you’ll need is a keen interest to learn!
The main aim of Spanish for Holidays is to learn basic Spanish, so you feel confident in greeting people and introducing yourself, talking about your friends and family, ordering food and drink, getting by in tourist situations, asking for directions, and using numbers and quantities.
This course has been designed to introduce you to the Spanish language and to develop your understanding of the language and customs as well as providing a sound grounding for further studies. You will have ample opportunity to learn to deal with authentic situations that may realistically be encountered whilst travelling in Spain or Spanish speaking countries, for pleasure or when meeting Spanish people.
