Haywards Heath College Celebrates Results Day Achievement
Haywards Heath College students have been praised for their hard work and determination as they achieved ‘phenomenal’ T Level and A-level results today (15 August 2024).
The college’s T Level students – the first for Haywards Heath College – have achieved a superb 100% pass rate, with 80% achieving merit grades for education and early years.
It also recorded a strong 96.1% pass rate for this year’s A-level results, with 19 subjects achieving 100% pass rates.
Paul Riley, Principal at Haywards Heath College, said: “This year’s fantastic A-level and phenomenal T Level results are a true reflection of our students’ dedication and perseverance.
“Their achievements are a source of immense pride for the entire college community and we are excited to see our students embark on their next adventures, equipped with the knowledge and skills they have gained here at Haywards Heath College.”
The college’s pass rate is an improvement on last year’s results, with the college showing good progress since it opened in September 2020.
Around 37% of students secured grades ranging from A*-B, with several subjects excelling with English language & literature (73% A*-B) and film studies (70% A*-B) standing out while 100% of the college’s Spanish language students achieved A*-C grades.
And 100% of the college’s EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) students achieved A*–C with 75% securing A*-B grades.
Paul added: “Our fantastic community here at Haywards Heath College works hard to ensure our students are supported in their studies, as well as challenged academically as they strive to do the very best that they can.
“This is reflected today. Our teachers have gone above and beyond to support our students, and these results are a testament to their hard work and commitment.”
