Sport is the love of competition and striving to be your best.

Whether you’re looking to study sport, PE or sport and exercise science, you’re in the best place!

Where will this lead?

There are so many careers in sport and physical education. You might want to continue your studies at university or train as a physiotherapist or teacher. Some students will go on to be coaches or personal trainers.

Meet the team

Emma Gardiner - Teacher of Sport

I have been teaching Sport, my no.1 passion, for many years and look forward to joining the Haywards Heath College teaching team. Treat our sport lessons as if we are your sports team - have respect, be prepared, work hard and remember winning isn’t everything but wanting to win is.

Our Facilities Sport and Physical Education

Practical activities

Along with traditional lessons, discussion and case studies, there will be an emphasis on practical activities to support learning. For PE A-level, students are also required to demonstrate their level of practical performance in a chosen sport.

1:1 support

There is a lot of support available from our expert teachers, and extra support sessions can be made available outside of lesson time for help with tasks.

Modern campus

Haywards Heath College is well-equipped with modern facilities, including new classrooms and sports equipment to guide students in their studies.
